Reliable 2.4 GHz Wireless Connectivity

The RB951Ui-2HnD supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standards on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, delivering wireless data rates of up to 300 Mbps under suitable conditions. Its integrated dual-chain wireless radio and built-in antennas help connect compatible laptops, smartphones, tablets and other wireless-enabled devices. This allows the router to power a compatible network device using the same voltage supplied to the router, within the manufacturer's electrical limits. Passive PoE is not the same as standard IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, so compatibility and voltage requirements should be checked before connecting equipment.

RouterOS and Network Management

Powered by a 600 MHz Atheros AR9344 processor with 128 MB RAM, the RB951Ui-2HnD runs MikroTik RouterOS with a Level 4 licence. RouterOS provides configurable networking capabilities for routing, firewall rules, wireless access, traffic management and other supported network functions. An integrated USB 2.0 Type-A port adds another connectivity option for supported peripherals.

Compact Design for Home and Office Networks

With dimensions of approximately 11.3 × 13.8 × 2.9 cm, the router fits comfortably on desks and shelves where space is limited. It supports DC jack or passive PoE input, providing flexibility when planning a network installation.
