FEATURES

The Ubiquiti USW-Pro-Max-16-PoE is a powerful and flexible managed network switch designed for modern home, office, business, and professional UniFi network installations. It provides multiple Ethernet ports for connecting computers, access points, security cameras, VoIP phones, and other network devices while also delivering power directly through compatible Ethernet cables.
The switch offers a total of 16 Ethernet ports, including 12 GbE PoE+ ports and 4 2.5GbE PoE++ ports. This combination provides flexibility for both standard Gigabit devices and newer high-speed equipment that benefits from faster network connections.
With a generous 180W total PoE power budget, the switch can power several compatible PoE devices without requiring separate power adapters for each device. The PoE+ ports can provide up to 32W per port, while the PoE++ ports can provide up to 64W per port when supported by the connected equipment.
For high-speed network expansion, the switch includes two 10G SFP+ ports. These ports can be used for high-bandwidth uplinks to another switch, server, router, or network storage system, helping reduce network bottlenecks.
The USW-Pro-Max-16-PoE is a managed switch, allowing users to configure and monitor their network through the UniFi Network platform. This provides convenient control over connected devices, network traffic, VLANs, port settings, and other network functions from a centralized interface.
Another useful feature is Etherlighting, which provides visual port identification and network status information, making it easier to identify connected devices and troubleshoot network connections.
